Hey all. What would you like to know? I'm a twenty-five year old photographer & writer in Los Angeles. I have a degree in filmmaking, but film school left a bad taste in my mouth, so I don't see movies. Fortunately, I have only a minor in fine arts, so I can still appreciate that. I like to go out, I like to collaborate, and I like to volunteer. I'm queer identified, an atheist, and a transportation renegade who chooses to navigate car crazy Los Angeles on her pink bicycle or via public transit. Since giving up my car as my primary form of transportation (I still have one for major transportation), I've been happier & healthier. I reject standards of conventional beauty - I don't shave my armpits nor do I pluck my eyebrows. But I do like to shave my legs, which are big & strong from riding. I was a teenager once - have done & still do my share of recreational activities. Tripping is the best (& cheapest!) way to travel. I love a good stiff cheap drink in a trashy dive bar (Mr T's Bowl in Highland Park is my fave). My favorite music is live. I enjoy reading young adult science fiction & fantasy. Having been through some rough spots, I feel I've transcended much of my materialistic desire, focusing on the bare necessities, and living in gratitude for the things I do have. I'm looking forward to growing older, wiser, and more wrinkled. I attempt to operate outside of mainstream society, though I've a fondness for expensive hair products, good food, & fancy drinks. I'm generally pretty confident, cheerful, and outgoing. I work in the party & event scene in Los Angeles, so I am looking for fellow LA kids with a social flare. I possess a genuine curiosity & sympathy for the lives of others, and love the potential to experience a different POV that Livejournal offers. After all, it's when we find ourselves trapped within the confines of our own vision that we suffer the most. I'm very focused on positive energy, and propagating it in all my actions. My personal work is informed by my sensuality for life, which I believe to be sexual in origin and healthy in practice. i'm anonymous. i'm you're average 20-something year old college student. i do well in school, have a good group of friends, normal family life, and a boyfriend who loves me. i'm relatively thin (despite my ever-growing ass, hips, and thighs) and slightly above average height. i wouldn't say i'm traditionally beautiful but with the right clothes and makeup, i will mostly likely catch your attention. i'm not rich (college is expensive!), but i wouldn't say i'm underprivileged. people close to me say i have everything going for me. they're probably right. but nonetheless, i choose to risk it all by doing whatever it takes to fuel my addiction to sex. it's my desire, my passion, my itch, hunger, and thirst for the risque, taboo, provocative, naughty, and down right dirty that feeds my lust for life. journal obviously nsfw. more entries to come soon. add me if you're open-minded.

Hey, guys?
Stop saying that your characters want to rape my character. No, really. Stop.
If you want our characters to get it on, that’s one thing. There’s no age of consent in this world, so it doesn’t matter that he’s 14. There is, however, the fact that he is totally not mentally ready for sex. Which has been expressed, both IC and OOC, on multiple occasions. But whatever. I don’t mind anyone going “Oh, he’s so cute, he and my girl should get it on.”
But this whole rape thing? There might not be an age of consent in this world, and these people might not have a law against murder. But you’d better believe that if anyone actually raped this kid, that person would have at least five very angry, very pissed off, very powerful people extracting vengeance upon your character. Not because the pup is mine, or because it's you, but because rape doesn't fly with these people. Also: joking about rape is not funny, it’s not cute, and it’s not witty. Stop.

Hiiii~
I'm eighteen and a Japanese major in college. I hope to become fluent someday and I also want to become fluent in Korean. I absolutely love anime, manga, video games (XBOX 360, DS, Wii, older systems, and I really want a PS3!), and Asian dramas, so if you are into those kind of fandoms, I'm sure we'll get along great! If you're not, that's cool too, as long as you're okay with mentions of them in my blog. :D.
I also have some not-so-geeky interests. I really like drawing, film, and music. Some of my favourite movies are Fight Club, Where the Wild Things Are, Party Monster, and But I'm a Cheerleader.
I'm homosexual and in a serious relationship. If you have a problem with that or are just looking for romance, look elsewhere~
I absolutely love etsy and buy handmade goods from there whenever I can afford it! I do most of my clothes shopping there as well. I collect plushes of random things like zombie bunnies and peanut butter jellyfishes.

One thing that I constantly run into that would make mine and my rp partner's lives so much easier is if people would take the time to simply reread posts. Instead of coming to tag a scene and only rereading what I have posted to them, if only they would look even one post further back and reread their own post that I replied to. (I personally reread my own tag and the reply I've gotten every time[further back if I'm coming back to a scene the next day, etc], so I can keep up with a good, consistent flow in all of my scenes)
See what happens is people, especially if things get a wee bit tense, is they come back to a scene, read my tag, and give me a knee-jerk response. Well that helps no one if their off the cuff response directly contradicts something their character just said. What this does is a) makes their characters look stupid. b) makes their characters look shithouse rat insane. c) often leads to everyone thinking their characters are irrational, inconsistent bastards who make no sense whatsoever, and probably should be avoided in the future. d) my characters often think they're being lied to--and poorly at that.
The worst part is being made to feel like I'm the d-bag for having the decency to pay attention in the first place, and keep continuity within a single scene. So, if you, dear readers, find yourself in a position where you feel like you aren't sure what's going on, a scene's going out of control, etc--do yourself a favor and try re-reading before you reply. It might help.

Since you can never have too many friends. To start off I'm Andrea, I'm 23. I live in Boringville Illinois. I try to comment and update regularly. Don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't comment every single one your entries. Sometimes I just don't have anything to say. I don't expect for each of mine to get comments either. I actually like to get to know the people on my friends list and I'm always up for talking. I spend too much time on line but I have been trying to get out a little more and be social. I do have an anxiety disorder but I don't use that to treat people like an asshole and rarely talk about that in my journal. My journal is manly my day to day life, rants, things I think are funny, pictures, some quizzes/memes when I'm bored. I do not censor myself in my journal though. You have been very inactive for quite a few months. Lets talk about.... 3 to 4?. You post about maybe once, or even twice a month if I'm lucky. At the beginning, you were so excited, but it seems you have faded in interest. If that's true, I'm so fine with it. Sad, but fine.
You've failed the activity check without a hiatus up, I'm sorry. I've given you opportunities to have logs, I've set up things for you to play that you've little or never replied to, and every time you blow me off just a bit more. If you're gonna be disinterested... please just tell me. We can help each other, and maybe revive the spark that looks as if it has been snuffed out.
When we finally give you the boot, please do not call me a cunt. Or a bitch. Or tell me that I'm a heartless motherfucker who you hope burns in hell. Всем привет! Я не так давно в ЖЖ, но меня это уже порядком торкает:) Пишу про: 1) Музыку. Я - страшный меломан и ценитель всякого олдскула, особенно психоделики. Кроме того, участник психодельнорокового проекта Eunomy, и сейчас мы пишем альбом. Мы (участники проекта) уже года 3 как живём в разных городах, но сейчас дошли руки до сведения и появилось желание довести наше дело до конца. Несколько треков вы можете послушать уже сейчас. Остальное, как говорится, Under Construction. В конце нашей работы должен появиться полноценный альбом из 11 треков. Я буду писать обо всех стадиях процесса и выкладвыать всё, что у нас получается. My name's whatever you want it to be. I'm 15, Filipino, and I live in California. So after making this account I never really took the time to make friends but here I am :D Anyway, I'll mostly post useless stuff, but I like posting videos and pictures. I'll probably be really weird and random too. So here's a list of things I like~
Manga/Manwha & Anime: When it comes to manga and anime, I pretty much like anything. From shojo to shonen to yaoi. I mostly read manga more than I watch anime though. Yep. So I like Axis Powers Hetalia, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club, Skip Beat, Defense Devil, Bakuman, Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Hayate the Combat Butler(Hayate no Gotoku), Bukiyou na Silent, Death Note, Kimi ni Todoke, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Alive-The Final Evolution, Kuroshitsuji, Boarding House of Hunks, Pig Bride, and tons more that I'm too tired to list.
J-Dorama/K-Dramas: I love watching Japanese and Korean dramas. My favorites include Nobuta wo Produce, Hana Kimi, Waterboys (all of them!!), Koizora, Nodame Cantabile, You're Beautiful, and High School Samurai. You'll probably see me fangirl about what I watch, too~
Music: I LIKE ALL MUSIC (although I don't really like country music). I love music in all kinds of different languages!
Video Games: Heheh. Gears of War (one and two), Call of Duty (all of them), Age of Empires (all of them), Bioshock, Portal(<33333), The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts(all of them), and some others :3
